Formative Assessment 1 - Glogster
Objective: Demonstrate a willingness and ability to express themselves and paint a picture of themselves.
Assessment: Students will demonstrate their ability and willingness to tell their story. Students should follow these instructions:
Create a "Glog" to present their personal story. Your "Glog" should be a visual presentation of you that will allow your classmates to understand where you are from and who you are today. Each "Glog' should include the following:
Feedback according to Tuttle's Stages of Formative Assessment:
"Student Response": Students demonstrate their findings through the "Glog"
"Monitor the Response": Teacher ensures students complete and email link to "Glog"
"Diagnose the Response": Teacher evaluates information in "Glog"
"Share Feedback Based on the Diagnosis": Teacher provides students with assessment/feedback of the content of their presentations
"Student Uses Feedback to Learn": Student uses teacher feedback to prepare for their presentations to their classmates
"Report Growth and Celebrate": Teacher high-lights certain "Glogs" as exemplars and synthesizes the students' growth in their knowledge of imperialism
